Service Users

Surf Logo

The service users representative forum was set up in 2009 by a group of service users who had been through the treatment programme and wanted to help the service users of the city have a more active say in how treatment was delivered, to provide an advocacy service and to sign post service users to the relevant agencies as well as giving service users a voice that could be heard.

Our vision is to provide a friendly, fun, lively, professional and all inclusive forum run by service users for service users.  Our aim is to enable people who have been involved in any way with substance use problems to obtain and share information and learning, meet socially, develop confidence and have fun.  We ensure that their needs and views are aired and listened to.  All our many diverse and innovative activities are aimed at improving the quality of the services that people of the city access.
